Hobby Therapy

My hobbies and passions were always a place of comfort for me. Sometimes they weren’t enough. For those times I’ve learned tools, tricks and techniques for how to change, grow and feel better.

In therapy the cornerstone of our work together is the therapeutic relationship itself. Having bridges between us shared interests and commonalities helps to establish a base of trust and communication. I’m consistently curious about others passions and I’m more than happy to talk about D&D, Warhammer, Anime, Gaslands, Starwars, DC, Marvel, independent comics and a million others. Learning about new media, hobbies and interests can make healing smooth and in many cases introduce a fun and casual element to the hard work of therapy.

We have all at one point or another been shamed and ostracized for our interests and who we are. I learned much on my own path of healing of how to embrace myself, my interests and all that comes with it. I look forward to sharing my knowledge and time with you. I will provide you with a safe and judgment-free environment so we can effectively tackle your goals together.
